Instrumentation Facility at Anupama College of Pharmacy

Anupama College of Pharmacy is equipped with a modern Instrumentation Facility, offering a wide range of sophisticated instruments and equipment to support research, analysis, and experimentation in pharmaceutical sciences. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet the needs of students, faculty, and researchers, providing access to cutting-edge technology and instrumentation for conducting high-quality research and practical training.

List of Instruments and Equipment:

  1. High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC):

    • Used for the separation, identification, and quantification of pharmaceutical compounds in complex mixtures.
  2. Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS):

    • Enables the analysis of volatile and semi-volatile compounds, identification of unknown substances, and quantification of trace components.
  3. UV-Visible Spectrophotometer:

    • Utilized for quantitative analysis of pharmaceuticals, determination of drug concentrations, and characterization of compounds based on their UV absorption spectra.
  4. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR):

    • Enables the identification of functional groups, structural analysis of organic compounds, and characterization of polymers and biomolecules.
  5. Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS):

    • Used for the determination of trace metal concentrations in pharmaceutical samples, environmental samples, and biological fluids.
  6. Disintegration Test Apparatus:

    • Determines the disintegration time of tablets and capsules in simulated physiological conditions, ensuring their efficacy and bioavailability.
  7. Dissolution Test Apparatus:

    • Measures the rate and extent of drug release from solid dosage forms, providing crucial information about drug formulation and performance.
  8. High-Speed Homogenizer:

    • Used for the preparation of homogenous suspensions, emulsions, and cell lysates in pharmaceutical research and formulation development.
  9. Electrochemical Analyzer:
